What is an alfajor?
An alfajor is a traditional South American pastry enjoyed in countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, and Peru. It features two soft, delicate cookies sandwiched together with dulce de leche or other fillings. Alfajores come in a variety of flavors and are known for their tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture—perfect alongside a cup of coffee or as a small, satisfying dessert.
What size are your alfajores?
Our alfajores are about 2 - 2.25 inches in diameter, making them a perfectly bite-sized treat for sharing, gifting, or events. Larger sizes may be offered in the future.
What is the shelf life of the alfajores?
Our alfajores are made without preservatives, so they’re best enjoyed fresh within 1–3 days. For longer freshness, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for up to 1 month. The same storage guidelines apply to our brownies and tarts.
How should I store my baked goods?
Best enjoyed fresh. Keeps up to 5 days in an airtight container at room temperature. For extended freshness, refrigerate or freeze for up to 1 month.

Pick up & Location
Where are you located?
Salt and Crumb Co. is a home-based bakery located in Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton, Florida. Pickup details are provided after order confirmation.
Do you offer delivery?
At this time, we offer pickup only unless otherwise arranged for special or corporate orders.
What are your pickup days?
Pickup is typically available Friday afternoons, unless otherwise noted. Some items may be picked up the day before or after with prior notice and approval.
How far in advance should I place my order?
We recommend placing orders at least 72 hours in advance to ensure availability. Larger orders or event orders may require additional notice.
What if I need to pick up my order on a different day than the scheduled pick-up day?
If you need to arrange pickup on a different day, please email hello@saltandcrumbco.com before placing your order to confirm availability. I’ll do my best to accommodate when possible.
Ingredients & Allergens
Do your products contain allergens?
Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts. While some items may not contain certain allergens, cross-contact is possible.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?

Do you offer gift boxes?
Yes! Our baked goods make beautiful gifts for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions.
